AZIMUTS Homeland Security Services is an independent French company specialising in airport and aviation security.
We provide aerodrome operators, airlines, regulated agents and business aviation operators with airport security services designed to comply with national and European regulatory requirements.
Who we are
A French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €50,400.00, AZIMUTS has its registered office in Genas, near Lyon.
The company operates mainly at airports across France.
Our story
Founded in 2005, AZIMUTS was created out of a determination to bring greater efficiency, rigour and innovation to airport security.
Shortly after its creation, the company began providing airport security services at Lyon Saint-Exupéry and Lyon-Bron airports.
In 2007, AZIMUTS designed the first online platform for managing and overseeing training, an early reflection of its commitment to innovation in the service of quality and ease of oversight.
In 2014, the company integrated explosive detection dog (EDD) teams.
In 2015, AZIMUTS developed dedicated services for sensitive flights operated by airlines flying to Israel and North America.
In 2020, it developed its own application system, AZIMUTS OPS, dedicated to managing its operations, and designed the first permanent automated audit system available online for its clients.
Today, AZIMUTS continues to innovate, providing airport security services at more than ten airports in France while meeting the needs of over 25 clients of diverse geographical origins and with diverse operational requirements.
Our regulatory framework
Our activities fall within the civil aviation security framework defined by ICAO (Annex 17), Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and its implementing acts, and by national regulations (the French order of 11 September 2013, as amended).
As a private security company, AZIMUTS operates under CNAPS authorisation no. AUT-069-2121-08-29-20220355777, in accordance with Book VI of the French Internal Security Code.
